He is the principal architect of Fulgar Architects, an architectural, engineering, and technology studio in the Philippines helping real estate developers, property owners, and business enterprises plan and design unique and future ideas for hotels, resorts, museums, offices, and condominium towers, commercial and mixed-use township developments with a flavor for the meta-modern in the next Philippine architecture.

One of the premium minds in the architectural arena today, Ian Fulgar, questions conventional approaches and invites each project venture’s uniqueness. He has been featured in various publications, from magazines to newspapers, and regularly contributes content or articles about future trends in the industry to the Property Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

With over twelve years of experience in software technology developing front-end UI and server-side systems, Ian Fulgar leverages various parametric building information modeling tools for architectural design, energy analysis, and spatial simulation. Today, his focus has evolved toward integrating real estate tokenization, blockchain systems, AI-driven design intelligence, and proptech innovations to transform how developments are originated, structured, and co-developed. As the Architect of Ventures, Ian bridges landowners and investors through intelligent frameworks, turning raw land into legacy through equitable, future-facing partnerships.

Ian’s passion for the fine arts drives a continuous exploration of form, theory, and visual expression, from classical studies to the evolving frameworks of radical constructivism. His creative investigations span painting, mixed media, and architectural ideologies, often intersecting with contemporary discourse and critique. With a pursuit of graduate studies at the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, Ian expands his academic and professional practice through research and exhibition. His works have been exhibited internationally, collected by patrons and private collectors across the globe, and can be viewed through Fulgar Studio.
